Children's Policy
Sometimes it's nice to leave the children at home, but you'll find all hotels in the Barcelo Hotels & Resorts UK, formery Paramount group make younger guests feel just as important as the older ones. We've got some great value for money deals for families when you stay at Barcelo Hotels UK, not to mention some excellent special theme breaks to ensure you all get out and about.
Children's Prices
On a Barcelo Hotels UK short break:
- Children aged 5 and under stay and eat free when sharing with two adults.
- Up to two children aged 6-15 can share your room for free when there are two adults, meals are charged for as taken.
- Up to two children aged 6-15 sharing a room with one adult pay 50% of the adult rate each, but there's no single supplement on the adult rate on this basis.
- Two children aged 6-15 will only pay 50% of the adult rate each when thay share an interconnecting room which adjoins your own.
- You'll find each hotel has a selection of family rooms with foldout beds or bunk beds.
- You'll only pay for your children's meals as they have them. There is a reduced price for half adult portions from the main menu or your children can dine from the special kid's menu, available in all our hotels.

A Passport to Fun
You and your children will love the Barcelo Bear brigade; they'll find it fun and will be kept entertained during your stay. You'll love it because it'll keep them busy around the hotel. Each child will get a pack on arrival, which includes a 'Spot the Bear' hunt around the hotel, restaurant colouring in place mats and a balloon and goodies.
Babysitting
Barcelo Hotels & Resorts UK, formery Paramount Group of Hotels was the first hotel group in the UK to forge a partnership with Safehands UK, the leading provider of babysitting and mobile creche facilities. We know how important it is to ensure your children are offered the highest level of care when you want to take time off. So if you're at a wedding party at one of our hotels or want to enjoy a night out, you can now arrange for a registered, qualified and screened carer to come and look after your children. Plus if you're part of a larger group, why not arrange a Safehands mobile creche in one of our rooms?
If you need to book a Safehands carer, you need to call Safehands direct, at least 48 hours, in advance on 0870 8446688.
Please note: Barcelo Hotels & Resorts UK, formery Paramount Group of Hotels not the provider of the Babysitting service, we do not permit members of staff to babysit guests' children at any time, unles they are registered by Safehands. We do not offer a baby listening service.
