Barceló Hotels Online Booking Terms and Conditions
All online bookings
The Terms and Conditions detailed below apply to all online bookings at www.barcelo-hotels.co.uk.
When you make a booking, your contract (which includes these terms and conditions) will be with Barceló Hotels.
All rates featured on www.barcelo-hotels.co.uk are subject to availability and Barceló Hotels reserves the right to refuse any booking for good reason.
You'll always find the Best Available, Room rate on www.barcelo-hotels.co.uk guaranteed.
Payment
You’ll need to provide your credit card details to secure your booking. No charges will be made during the booking process, unless you make a Christmas/New Year, ‘Visiting Family and Friends’ booking, or advanced Booking special where full pre-payment is required. You can secure your booking by American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Maestro & Switch. Payment is due on departure from the hotel and can also be made by gift vouchers, Switch or Cheque, with a valid guarantee card.
Cancellations
Please cancel any bookings made online via the www.barcelo-hotels.co.uk homepage
If you cancel your booking by 2pm day prior to arrival you will receive a full refund unless otherwise stated in the Rate Descriptions. After this time, no refunds will be given.
Some rates i.e. 7 day & 14 day advanced specials cannot be cancelled and are pre-paid at time of booking. We would recommend purchasing travel insurance from a third party to cover you in the event of cancellation.
Rates
All rates quoted are per room per night, are subject to availability and include Value Added Tax & Services. Rates quoted cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion except Leisurebreak Club vouchers. Supplements will be applied for single and family room occupancy, and when premium rooms or suites are selected.
Availability of rooms at the rates displayed on www.barcelo-hotels.co.uk may be limited, the second best offer may be shown if there is no availability.

Incidentals / Added Extras and Activities
Any additional services, treatments and activities must be settled prior to departure. Some hotels charge for car parking. Whats on, attraction information is provided by whatsonwhen.co.uk and any queries must be taken up with them directly.
Children Policy
On a Barceló short break:
Children aged 5 and under stay and eat free when sharing with two adults.
Up to two children aged 6-15 can share your room for free when there are two adults, meals are charged for as taken.
Up to two children aged 6-15 sharing a room with one adult pay 50% of the adult rate each, but there's no single supplement on the adult rate on this basis.
Two children aged 6-15 will only pay 50% of the adult rate each when thay share an interconnecting room which adjoins your own.
You'll find each hotel has a selection of family rooms with foldout beds or bunk beds.
You'll only pay for your children's meals as they have them. There is a reduced price for half adult portions from the main menu or your children can dine from the special kid's menu, available in all our hotels.
The children's pricing policy above does not apply for Christmas and New Year Residential breaks, please see our Christmas brochure for more details.
Babysitting
Babysitting is available from SafehandsNetwork Ltd. Barceló Hotels is not the provider of these services; all agreements must be made between the parent and the babysitter. To book a Safehands babysitter contact Safehands direct on 0870 844 6688. For health and safety reasons, children are not allowed in spa baths, saunas or steam rooms.
Meals
Dinner inclusive breaks include a three-course Table d'hote or carvery menu. Breakfast inclusive may include regional variations/extras e.g. haggis in Scotland.
Special Requests/Comments
Every effort will be made to carry out special requests, this unfortunately cannot always be guaranteed.
Disabled Guests
Many hotels in the Barceló group offer facilities for disabled guests. Please make any special requests to your chosen hotel directly by telephoning ahead and we will be pleased to assist you.
Check-in and Check-out
Bedrooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival and until 11am on the day of departure.
Late Check-out (if booked separately)is until 2pm
Health Clubs
Where available, leisure facilities are mostly free of charge to use for guests staying overnight. Additional services including beauty treatments will be charged as taken. Treatments should be pre-booked directly with the hotel well in advance of arrival.
Car Parking
Charges may apply for Car Parking at some Hotels and is subject to availability. If you find a Car Park is full , you will be given directions to the nearest alternative site.
Dogs
Guide dogs are welcomed at many of our hotels, please check prior to arrival. You can bring your dog to stay in your room for £15. Any soiling or damage caused by the dog may incur a housekeeping charge.
Promotions and reader offers
Your promotional or reader offer package will be based on two guests, sharing a standard double or twin bedroom for a minimum of two consecutive nights. Each hotel allocates a limited number of bedrooms to these promotional offers and once the allocation has gone, you will be offered the next best available price. These offers are valid on new bookings only and cannot be used in conjunction
with any other discount, offer or promotion. The same children's policy applies to all promotional bookings. The usual single occupancy and upgrade supplements apply. For details on additional parking charges at the hotels, see above.
