Brighton Festival 2008 - 3rd  to 25th May

Brighton Festival is the largest event of its kind in England. Now in its fifth decade, it has become one of the major milestones in the cultural calendar, bringing an international mix of exclusive events, world and UK premieres,
special one-off commissions and endless hours of entertainment to the city by the sea.

Each year it unveils a sensational programme of theatre, dance, music, books & debate, children's and family shows and outdoor spectacle.

2008 is no different as we celebrate 42 years of exceptional arts and entertainment. This year there are 10 world and UK premieres; 11 commissions including 5 produced by the Festival and 9 Festival exclusives which all make up 100 of our over 200 hundreds events from around the world, across the UK and among Brighton's own celebrated arts community.

Tickets for the Brighton festival go on public sale on 29th February and the priority booking for festival friends is taking place now.
