Online Booking Terms & Conditions
The Terms and Conditions detailed below apply to all online bookings at www.paramount-hotels.co.uk.
When you make a booking, your contract (which includes these terms and conditions) will be with Paramount Hotels, now part of Barcelo Hotels & Resorts.
All rates featured on www.paramount-hotels.co.uk or www.barcelo-hotels.co.uk are subject to availability and Paramount Hotels reserves the right to refuse any booking for good reason.

Payment
You’ll need to provide your credit card details to secure your booking. No charges will be made during the booking process, unless you make a Christmas/New Year , ‘Visiting Family and Friends’ booking, or advanced Booking special where full pre-payment is required. You can secure your booking by American Express, Diners Card, Mastercard, Visa, Eurocard, Bankamericard. Payment is due on departure from the hotel and can also be made by Paramount gift vouchers, Switch or Cheque, with a valid guarantee card.
Cancellations
If you cancel your booking at least 2pm on day prior to arrival you will receive a full refund unless otherwise stated in the Rate Descriptions. After this time, no refunds will be given.
Rates
All rates quoted are per room per night , are subject to availability and include Value Added Tax. Rates quoted cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion except Leisurebreak Club vouchers. Supplements will be applied for single and family room occupancy, and when premium rooms or suites are selected.
Availability of rooms at the rates displayed on www.paramount-hotels.co.uk may be limited
We regret that family rooms and some special interest breaks cannot be booked online, please telephone 0870 168 8833 to make a booking if you have difficulty.
Incidentals / Added Extras and Activities
Any additional services, treatments and activities must be settled prior to departure. Some hotels charge for car parking.
Children
Children aged 5 and under stay and eat free. Up to 2 children aged 6 – 15 stay free, on a room only basis, when there are two adults in the room and where suitable sized standard rooms are available, you’ll need to pay for their meals and drinks. Up to two children aged 6-15 with one adult will be charged at 50% of the adult price each. Up to two children in their own room pay 50% of the adult price each.
A family room could include a foldaway bed and not all hotels have cots available so please ensure you call the hotel in advance of booking to avoid disappointment.
Babysitting is available from Safehands Network Ltd. Our hotels are not the provider of these services; all agreements must be made between the parent and the babysitter. To book a Safehands babysitter contact Safehands direct on 0870 844 6688. For health and safety reasons, children are not allowed in spa baths, saunas or steam rooms.
Meals
Dinner inclusive breaks include a three-course table or carvery menu. Breakfast inclusive may include regional variations/extras e.g. haggis in Scotland.
Special Requests
Every effort will be made to carry out special requests, this unfortunately cannot always be guaranteed.
Disabled Guests
Many hotels in the group offer facilities for disabled guests. Please make any special requests to your chosen hotel directly by telephoning ahead and we will be pleased to assist you.
Check-in and Check-out
Bedrooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival and until 11am on the day of departure.
Health Clubs
Where available, leisure facilities are mostly free of charge to use for guests staying overnight. Additional services including beauty treatments will be charged as taken. Treatments should be pre-booked directly with the hotel well in advance of arrival.
Car Parking
Charges may apply for Car Parking at some Hotels and is subject to availability. If you find a Car Park is full, you will be given directions to the nearest alternative site.
Dogs
Guide dogs are welcomed at many hotels, please check. You can bring your dog to stay in your room for £15. Any soiling or damage caused by the dog may incur a housekeeping charge.
