Three-nights of Christmas sparkle

Christmas Eve
When you arrive, relax with a delicious cream tea in the lounge. Whilst you settle into the hotel, enjoy a movie in the Gresham Suite or collect a treasure hunt form from reception and explore Brighton.  Your evening begins with welcome drinks reception with carol singers before dinner is served in the restaurant. Live entertainment form a local band follows in the Paganini Ballroom.

Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Get up, open your presents and make your way to a full English or continental breakfast. Unwind in the hotel this morning, or take a walk along the promenade and watch the crazy locals take to the water for their Christmas Day swim. Hot mulled wine will keep you warm at the shoreline. Back at the hotel a four-course Christmas Day lunch awaits you. In the afternoon, snooze in front of the Christmas Day movie, or join in with fun and games in the Tudor Suite, including ‘Give us a clue’ – the classic game of charades. The evening can be spent browsing the hot and cold buffet which is complemented by more live entertainment.

Boxing Day
After a leisurely breakfast, visit the sales in the Lanes just behind the hotel. In the afternoon, there are more movies, or fun and games, including a team quiz to test your brain power and general knowledge. The evening event is a gala dinner in the beautiful Paganini Ballroom. A four-course banquet adds the finishing sparkle to your Christmas break.

Tuesday 30th December

Arrive at the hotel and relax over a refreshing cup of tea. Meet the team and discover the fun-filled programme planned for your stay whilst we take your bags to your room. As a prelude to dinner, listen to a fascinating talk on the history of the Barceló Brighton Old Ship Hotel. Then indulge in a hot and cold buffet in the restaurant whilst some light entertainment keeps you amused. After dinner, join in with a game of ‘prize bingo’ or make your way to the games room where there’s a wide selection of fun to get your teeth into.

New Year’s Eve

After breakfast, take the opportunity to explore Brighton. Collect a treasure hunt form from reception or simply hit the shops for a last minute treat. Back at the hotel there will be ‘guess the weight of the Christmas cake’ plus other fun tests of skill and observation. You’ll collect your prize from this evening’s gala dinner that starts with a champagne welcome reception.

Your New Year gala dinner is a delicious four-course seasonal menu in the Paganini Ballroom.  After dinner a local DJ will help you see in 2009 in style. There will be spot prizes throughout the evening. You’ll leave us on New Year’s Day but make sure you’ve stocked up at the breakfast brunch bar before you leave.

Guaranteeing Your Booking
To guarantee your Christmas party booking please send a £10.00 deposit for each guests within 10 days of making your party night reservation. Your deposit cannot be transferred to cover drinks or accommodation. The balance should be settled four weeks before your event. To guarantee your New Year package you’ll need to pay a 50% deposit. All accommodation must be fully prepaid at the time of booking. All payments are non-refundable. You can pay this by Access/MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners, Switch or a cheque (made payable to Barceló UK Hotels).
