The marathon route, starting outside the Hilton Hotel, heads south down the Golden Mile, past the Tower, the three piers, the Pleasure Beach and Pontins, down to St Anne's and Lytham before doubling back on itself and taking in both Lower Walk and Middle Walk (the finishing point) parallel to the Promenade.
