Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm

Warwick Castle
'Britain's Greatest Medieval Experience', Warwick Castle is more than simply a castle. There are battle re-enactments, towers to climb, views to be appreciated and 800 years of history, arms and armour to see. From 19th September to 30th November a collection of the finest costumes, props and photogrpahs are on special loan from the Royal Shakespeare Company, in the Great Hall. During the October Half Term, the castle's ghosts are out to haunt visitors.  From December 10th to 2nd January, the castle's courtyard is transformed into a winter wonderland with an outdoor ice rink. Warwick Racecourse
Race meets are held throughout the year. Tickets cost from £6. Family days and children's entertainment are held on Bank Holidays during the summer. The racecourse is just off junction 15 of the M40. Call               01926 491553       .

Hatton Farm Village
Ideal for families with young children. Hatton Farm Village has animals from guinea pigs to rare breed cattle. There's lots of interactive fun to be had including: pony rides, Adventure Land, bouncy casltes, nature trails etc. Call               01926 843411       .

Hidcote Manor Garden
Part of the National Trust, Hidcote Manor Garden is one of England's great Arts and Crafts gardens, which continues to influence garden design. Created by the American horticulturist Major Lawrence Johnston in 1907. Call               01386 438333       .
