Children's Fringe Festival

Part of Leicester's annual eight-day Castle Park Arts & Heritage Festival, the Children's Fringe Festival takes place on the last day in 2008, and provides a wealth of activities for families during the late summer holidays.

In previous years the fun has included a treasure trail running through the Castle Park museums (that's The Guildhall, Newarke Houses & Jewry Wall museums), as well as a teddy bears' picnic, storytelling, guided walks (some of them ghostly), arts & craft workshops, puppet shows and concerts.

Expect more of the same this year - full details are released on the festival website as soon as they are available.
