Our Central Support office is based at the Barcelo Hinckley Island Hotel.

You will lead and manage the maintenance of  Barceló Hotels & Resorts UK, under the supervision of the Development Director and the Property Director, with the objective to guarantee the conservation of the fixed assets and the optimal operation of the facilities.

You will be passionate about optimising energy consumption and will have a proven ability to solve the complex problems large multi-site organisations face to increase energy efficiency, while maintaining a commercial focus.  

Essential requirements...

• Experience in Energy Management, Energy Surveying and Energy Improvement implementation  Electrical / Mechanical engineering degree
• A building services engineering background
• Experience of managing a team
• Extensive project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• IT Literate
• Working knowledge of process and technology improvement techniques (Root cause analysis, FMEA, HAZOP)

Desirable...

• Spanish speaking
• Hospitality experience
• Experience of SAP
