Barceló Hinckley Island Hotel is a modern 362 bedroom, four star hotel situated just outside Leicester. It is one of the busiest conference hotels in the group and has 24 conference rooms which hold up to 400 guests. It is a lovely property where the team provides excellent service.

 

You'll be organising and preparing a variety of menus, planning them and costing them. You'll be supervising, coaching and training the other members of your team. Stock rotation and storage organisation must be one of your main priorities. You'll also be in charge of health, hygiene and safety responsibilities.

• Passion, flair and imagination for quality food and service
• Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in a quality four star hotel
• 1 or 2 AA Rosette level
• Must have basic food hygiene certificate
• Must have four star experience plus knowledge of banqueting 250 plus covers
• To be eligible to live and work in the UK

 

We are looking for a chef with previous fine dinning experience.  Leadership skills essential.  Candidates interviewed will be asked to prepare a cook off at interview.  Live in available.  Candidates must be available for face to face interview.
